The Complete Cycle
Everything in the slides above happens on one working site. The fuel is made, stored and dispensed where it is used.
Solar panels generate the power and battery storage holds it. A PEM electrolyser turns water into green hydrogen, which goes straight into high pressure tanks connected to the dispenser. Sunlight in, hydrogen out, with zero emissions in operation.
The system is modular, so it scales to the operation. A single helipad needs a little hydrogen; a regional airfield or a mixed fleet needs a lot. Solar, storage and electrolyser capacity are sized to the volume you need, and added to as you grow.
No pipeline, no tanker deliveries and no waiting for an airport to build hydrogen infrastructure. Put the cycle at an airfield, helipad, resort, vessel or remote base and the aircraft refuels where it lands, with ground fleets running on the same supply.
It is already built. The facility was completed between 2021 and 2022 by our engineering partners, and Boss n Queen brings that same team, design and experience to your site.
Hydrogen Aviation
The old assumption was that hydrogen aviation had to wait for the full airport ecosystem to be built first. It does not. Fewer than five percent of major airports have even completed a preliminary hydrogen infrastructure feasibility study, and operators who wait for them will be waiting a long time.
As Olivia Sainsbury told the 7th International Hydrogen Aviation Conference, infrastructure is a design choice, not a blocker. The model that works is decentralised: modular production, storage and refuelling at the point of operation, so flying starts where the mission case is strongest rather than where infrastructure happens to exist.
The Point of Operation
This facility is that model, already running. Sunlight in, green hydrogen out, on one site. Put the same cycle at your airfield, helipad, resort, vessel or remote base and the fuel is made where the aircraft lands.
Boss n Queen is the global sales distributor for Stellar Jet, the hydrogen powered aircraft that takes off and lands vertically, cruises like a jet and refuels in 10 minutes, with zero emissions in operation.
How It Works
Solar panels on site produce the electricity. The sun is the only energy input to the cycle.
Dedicated battery storage holds that energy, so the electrolyser runs on a steady supply rather than a passing cloud.
An electrolyser splits water into hydrogen and oxygen using the stored solar energy. The result is green hydrogen.
Hydrogen moves immediately into specialised high pressure storage tanks, sized to the demand of the site.
The tanks feed refuelling on the same site, planned around the aircraft, with dispensing for ground fleets and vessels as well.
See It Working
Two short films from the site. The first follows the energy from the solar array through battery storage to the electrolyser. The second shows hydrogen being dispensed at the station, the last step of the cycle.
Film one · Stages 01 to 04
Solar to Hydrogen: The Site Walkthrough
A walk through the working site, from the solar array that generates the power, past the storage and power conversion, to the electrolyser that produces green hydrogen.
Film two · Stage 05
Hydrogen Dispensed On Site
The hydrogen made on site goes straight to the dispenser. In this film a hydrogen vehicle fills at the 700 bar nozzle. At an airfield, helipad or vessel, the same supply is planned around the aircraft.

Why Boss n Queen
Anyone can sell you a part of a hydrogen system. We deliver the whole cycle, at whatever scale your operation needs, for aviation first with ground fleets and vessels on the same supply, and we can show you one already working. That is the difference between a proposal and a reference site.
Proven, Not Proposed
The facility on this page is built and dispensing hydrogen. It was completed between 2021 and 2022 by the engineering partners we bring to every project.
One Point of Responsibility
Site assessment, design, equipment, partners and commissioning sit with one team. You deal with us from the first solar panel to the first fill.
Any Size, Any Volume
The system is modular. From one helipad to a regional airfield, a single aircraft to a mixed fleet, we size production to the hydrogen you need and scale it as your operation grows, anywhere in the world.
Enquiries
The facility shown was delivered by Boss n Queen's engineering partners and is presented as a reference project. Stellar Jet images are renders. Every project is designed and sized to its own site, demand and approvals, and specifications are confirmed at proposal stage.
